Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:
A Procurement Specialist will acquire a company’s various supplies and ensure that required materials and products are sourced efficiently. The main duties include identifying key suppliers, negotiating purchasing agreements, and ensuring that materials and products meet the company’s quality and quantity requirements.
Procurement Specialist Duties and Responsibilities:
- Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors
- Track inventory and restock goods when needed
- Stay up to date on industry trends and new products
- Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing
Requirements:
- Education: B. Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy) or equivalent qualification preferred
- Willingness to travel as required
- Good communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
